Jeff Finitz ’82, PE, was recently hired as the head of the transportation department in the Boston, Mass., office of Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm.
He will manage the bridge and highway teams in the design and in-service inspections of highway, tunnel, and transit infrastructure, as well as support business development efforts in the New England region.
Finitz has more than 34 years of experience as a transportation engineer and project manager for bridge, highway, and transit projects. Prior to joining Dewberry, he was a manager of operations and transportation program manager, and served as an associate vice president at a top design firm where he focused on managing highway programs for various state departments of transportation.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Clarkson. Finitz is a professional engineer in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
